Group B comes to an end today at the World Cup.
The Netherlands beat Chile for first place in the group, while at
the
same time Spain, who is already eliminated, beat too Australia.
the Netherlands avoid
playing with the winner of Group A,
(presumably Brazil) in the round of 16.
Though Spain crashed out of the World Cup at the first hurdle for the
first time since 1998, they went out with a bang after disposing of
Australia 3-0 in their final Group B fixture on Monday.
Later today, the conclusion of Group A. Hosts Brazil takes on Cameroon
at 4 p.m., while at the same time Mexico and Croatia do battle for a
spot in the knockout round.
