URGENT: Felipe Scolari sacked as coach of Brazil



Reuters - A Brazilian newspaper milestone on Monday that football officials sacked the Services coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, hours after the curtain comes down on the World Cup on home soil, which tasted during which two of the worst defeats throughout their history in the top-notch football tournament in the world.

Brazil has been a strong favorite to win the title, but swallowed a humiliating defeat seven goals to the goal against Germany in the semi-finals before losing three goals without reply against the Netherlands in the third-place match.

Scolari led Brazil in 2002 for her last five in the World Cup, said after the end of his career at the tournament that he would report to the Brazilian Union officials and then decide his future.

But the newspaper O Globo reported that Scolari was sacked late on Sunday. She said a formal announcement in this regard will be issued on Monday.

There was no immediate comment from the Brazilian football.

Scolari took over responsibility in November in November 2012 and lost only five games in 29 matches for the team under his leadership
